Climate change and the rising sea levels are not concerned with borders between countries. The 2 Seas region needs to join forces long term to adapt to climate change successfully.

About the action plan

In order to embed long term international collaboration on flood defence, an action plan will be in place at the end of the Polder2C’s project.

What does the action plan entail?

The action plan will lay out how to realise international collaboration on flood defences, ensuring a lasting unity after project closure. Exchange of knowledge, expertise and techniques followed by hands-on collaboration and training on the levees will be directed towards an action plan for prolonged collaboration on research for assessing, designing and maintaining flood defences.
