In the Polder2C’s project, ISL will share and develop its expertise related to in situ testing (preparation, follow-up, interpretation) and the acquired data processing for a better understanding of the failure mechanisms and design of innovative solutions to face the water managers challenges caused by climate change.

International project experience

ISL takes part in several national French collaboration projects. These projects aim to develop knowledge on dikes and dam failure mechanisms and associated risks. Also, they aim to develop innovative solutions for flood management, taking into account challenges and uncertainties caused by climate change.

An EU project that ISL took part in is the Eurorégion Pyrénées Méditerranée - Prévision et gestion du risque d’inondation en Eurorégion Pyrénées-Méditerranée. ISL collaborated with the Institut Flumen – Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Institut de Mécanique des Fluides de Toulouse and the Universitat de les Illes Balears.
